LOL Tim is 18 now..damn...look at him!

Damn, I remember the days when I was bigger than him! Now he's bigger than me!! LOL OMG...Sorry girls, he's not jail bait anymore but that's kinda weird...and his sister will track you down to make sure you don't break his heart! LOL

Anyway, it's okay if he's bigger than me...he's still younger and still one of my little cousins and I have memories of beating him up! Hahahahaha! 2 points for me!

The bathroom was hijacked this morning.

So I'm a little cranky that I had to go downstairs and use my parents' bathroom.

I am a little tired...6 days until I see J...

Foghorn almost got beat up and he ran into a corner to get away from me. LOL PUSSY!!! Funk Doc just laughed at him.

Hmmm...I'm so excited about seeing J.  I think we might be going out with a few of her friends for dinner. That kinda makes me nervous. I already met one of them. The other is her best friend and another friend from work. LOL They want to meet me. I'm kinda scared...

School is going okay so far.

For the first time in three years, I actually have homework to do. That should keep me on top of things. I also have to start work earlier because the elementary school day is ending earlier and having extended day classes for kids who need extra help and that ends at the regular school time. So yeah, I have to be at work for 2:30 now instead of 3.

My first quiz is coming up on Thursday! I have lab tomorrow. And I guess I'm just really working harder to get things done because I'm ready to graduate already. I've had enough of school!

Hmmm...so let me tell ya about my date!

I drove there...she lives across the street from a corn field!! LOL It's sooo creepy...she told me about it before...

Um...we saw Rumor Has It...It was an okay movie...Kinda weird...LOL I tried to be amusing by hiding my face with my hoodie. 

Then we went back to her house because she had to get her other jacket...so we did that and I'm looking at pictures of her family from a wedding and her sister is in the kitchen on the phone...I'm just looking at the picture and she says "GONORRHEA" and I'm like WTF LOL...so then she comes back downstairs and she was like "What's wrong?" so when we go back outside...I told her and I was like OMG that's sooo freakin' funny.

After that, she was like since you don't eat...what do you want to do? I know her friend Lisa wanted to meet me...so we go to Shop Rite...hahaha and visit Lisa at work. I met a bunch of people from her job. It was pretty funny. They're all hilarious and nice. Lisa let us go over to her place and chill. So we went there and watched television. Her dogs were shedding on me. I got a bunny named Hoppily and a bear which I renamed Mai. Lisa comes back from work and she's just hilarious. LOL She cooks while Lisa is doing something on the computer and I'm just laughing at Lisa curse at the computer.

Then we sat on the couch and watched television while I push Hoppily into her face to make her blink. Oh yeah, she held my hand....LOL Then I take Hoppily and mess with one of Lisa's dogs. And then...we took pictures...and we hugged goodbye...I grabbed her ass! LMAO!!!

And I drove back home...*sigh...can't wait to see her again!

She's trying to look for Billy Joel tickets @ MSG...LOL Maybe we'll go...maybe we won't...her friends are gonna go, too so that should be fun!

I've got a date next week!!

Nobody else is so special that I'm dropping whatever I'm doing just go to see them...

And all the people who keep telling us to go out are going to be just as excited as we are!!

I went to the doctor today. It was fun! I like having fun with my doctors. Why should a visit to the doctor be boring and annoying?

 

Yes, I am healthy. Very healthy. LOL

Doc: Hello, I see you're a new patient of mine. I usually ask a few questions so we can get to know each other.

Me: Oh...questions. Cool.

Doc: Yeah, so are you allergic to anything?

Me: Nope.

Doc: Are you on any medications?

Me: Nope but a couple of people I know would probably suggest you put me on something.

Doc: (laughs) Do you smoke?

Me: Yes. I do. I am in distress.

Doc: Well, you're very healthy but I would suggest you quit smoking. Whenever you're ready. If you feel like quitting, there are over-the-counter aids and your insurance can reimburse you for it.

Me: Oh well my sorority sisters do the voice box imitation thing all the time.

Doc: I guess (laughs) I don't have to give you a lecture then. It's up to you when you want to quit.

Me: I know. I'll let you know when I'm up for the challenge.

Doc: Are you sure there's nothing bothering you?

Me: Nope, I'm good. Although, my mom told me to tell you to yell at me about being overweight.

Doc: You're not that overweight. If your metabolism is a bit slow then it's slow. I'll just give you whatever tests you need and when I check your thyroid, I'll let you know.

Me: Okay cool. I think I gain weight from school. I smoke because I'm stressed out.

Doc: Do you drink?

Me: Yes. Occasionally.

Doc: Occasionally? How often are there occasions?

Me: Pretty often I'd say.

Doc: My doctor asked me how often I drink and I said on occasion and then I was thinking is that a trick question.

Me: No surprises here. I drink for every occasion I can find an excuse for.

Doc: Well you're very young.

Me: Yeah, I'll be drinking in six months after I graduate.

Doc: Oh, you're a smart one. I'm so surprised that you're advanced.

Me: Eh, it's nothing.

Doc: I'm proud of you. You should be proud of yourself.

Me: Yeah, I have to get a job.

Doc: What kind of job are you looking for?

Me: I don't know.

Doc: What are you studying?

Me: History.

Doc: Oh I see.

Me: It's okay. I go to Baruch.

Doc: (laughs) I'm sure you'll find something.

Me: I hope so or I may be drinking more than just occasionally.

Doc: (laughs) You're the easiest patient I've had all day.

Me: Well, I waited a long time.

Doc: I'm so sorry about that.

Me: It's okay.

Doc: Well, it was a pleasure meeting you (laughs) and I wish you lots of luck!

Me: Same here. Have a great day! (laughs and skips out of doctor's office)

I know a lot of people might find this crazy...but here goes...

There's this website where I am part of a great community of lesbians.

One of my first experiences in the chat room...I was welcomed by a New Yorker who was living in Massachusetts. She went by the name Iona. I didn't know her. But she was always fun to talk to when she was in the mood for it. She had cancer.

She passed away on Friday and one of my other friends from Australia who was familiar with her and the rest of my buddies on there told me the news.

I signed in today and I saw something in memory of Iona. I feel like I've got a family on there. It's weird how you become close to people you don't know. Whether you're sharing your experiences on the forums or getting a good laugh from chat or just sending smiles back and forth to people from all over the world. We all have something in common. We're lesbians and some grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and friends.

So...farewell Iona. May your journey be well. I was honoured to meet you.

(Even though I didn't know her too well...I remember having some interesting talks with her. That's what counts and this is why I'm writing this.)
